Worth the wait.

The torture is brutal.  The tradition in our family is to come down to the tree together.  This is the time that kills the kids.  That means that mom and dad have to get up, which they say takes forever and that it is a form of child abuse.
Ben is just plain mean isn't he.

I think that it is killing Porter,  I love his face.
Santa scored, with Porter. Porter got a Rip Stick
With Kade also.Kade got a Pro Scooter
This is defiantly the face of a happy kid.  He got a laptop bag.
This captures the day perfect.  The headlight was wore most of the morning.

The family got a Basketball Hoop.  Building it was half the fun.
Here is the other half of the fun.
Porter also got a SD card for his phone.  Finally he can take pictures with his phone.

Twas the night before Christmas

Twas the day before Christmas and all that long day mom was on errands
while the kids and dad stayed home and did nothing all day.
When she got home she wanted to play, so to the table she gathered them so,
they played till time to get ready for bed and watch the nativity show.
With smiles on their faces and love in their hearts, we all settled in for the movie to start.
The cartoon is a tradition and is our favorite,
it is narrated by Andy Grifith and is illustrated just right.
With the love of our savior and the meaning and reason
the kids opened up the first gift of the season.
Now off to bed
to try to sleep but stay awake instead.

Ward Christmas Party

This is the only pictures i took of the ward Christmas party that the Primary organized.  Sister Vargas' mother donated the white picket fences which added the perfect touch.  I was not the photographer just the decorator so the pictures are real basic.  But for those who wanted to see what I was doing here it is.  Sister Davis was the real photographer.  See here for the good pictures.

This was the stage where the bishop read the book "The Mansion"
This is the Primary first counselors daughter running past the entrance to the party.

These are the carolers who welcomed our guests as the came through the doors.
This is the view from the back of the room looking toward the stage. Aren't the light poles perfect.  You can't see them but each of the doors looks like a pop out store front.  It was fun.  Thanks to all those who helped set up, prepared the food, served the food and for cleanup. It turned out amazing.

This little cutie stood and watched the carolers sing for a good 5 minutes.  Just like that. She was so cute.  It made the carolers smile.

Motorcycling with Mathis'

We met the Mathis' out by Bloomington caves and went motorcycling.  The boys were very excited.

No one could get this little motorcycle started and so Kyle was waiting for Greg to get there.  I love Kyle's body language.
 Kade
This was Isaac's second time riding and so Jessica and Porter ran with him a couple laps till he was comfortable doing it alone.

 He got it real quick.
Then they took turns with it.  Thanks Isaac and Kyle for sharing with Porter.

Kade took Porter for a ride.
Greg arrived in Bryce's razor.  So Jess took me for a ride. Greg allready took me and I must say Jessica is a much better driver.  Thanks Greg.
This hill called to them the whole day.  Finally Kade got the courage and went up it.  Logan followed.  Then that was their favorite.  It's fun to watch them get comfortable with themselves and trust themselves.

Mason and Josh spent alot of time down by the airport.  There was a couple hills that you could loop up on and then over to the other one.  They had fun.

I am so glad that we have cousins that will share their fun they have with us.

Thanksgiving get away

We had the chance to go to St. George for Thanksgiving break.  We visited with the Fox cousins first.

The stairs is the most favorite place to play.
The big boys playing with Legos
Sheen gave each of the kids Hex Bugs for Halloween and so the made Sasha(Porter's bug),
The kids were climbing the tree.  Kade got up there by par coring  then challenged Matt to do it.  Matt tried.   He tried for like 10 minutes.

Kyron and Porter had a good time just watching.  The rest of us where dying from laughter.
He was laughing so hard he couldn't do it.
 Good tries Matt.

 Another Hex bug habitat
Mason and Grandma Fox are perfecting their piece.  They are awesome.
 Now for Annie-I-Over.

Annie I over
 Here they come, Run!

Time to go to Grandma and Grandpa Keith's.
As tradition goes each of the kids get to decorate Gingerbread houses.

Aunt Susan and Uncle Steve were with us this year.  It was fun to visit with them.  The kids loved playing hid and seek with her.

Santa was buried under that big pile of snow.  I asked him how he was going to get presents now and he just giggled.  I don't think he thought out his plan very well.
 Solomon's creation

Maggie and Isaac are helping Aunt Jessica play a game on her tablet.
Porter and Kyle playing the Nintendo
Aren't these boys getting so big.  They are not kids anymore.
This year there was no need to go to the stores to do Black Friday shopping.  These two were shopping from their Ipads.

Mason was quizing Logan down about computer stuff, probobly Mine Craft.
 Greg and Isaac

We sure have a lot of fun with all of our family.
