Christmas Story
all the kids were a scury just like a mouse.
All the nuts on the table had been shelled just right,
when mom walked in it ws a messy sight.
With ma out shopping and dad to babysit,
This was too cute she couldn't through a fit.
With all the excitement he just couldn't wait,
Kade was the one to get everyone a wake.
With eyes still a blurr and excitment growing,
they came down the hall to see the tree just a glowing.
Soon presents were scatered from here and to there,
A sure sign Santa had been here.
From Scotters, tamagatchi's and pokemans too,
It's not over now we get to go to Grandmas, Waa-hoo.
With all said and done and new memories to share,
Merry Christmas to all and a happy New Year.

Halloween fun
My kids are getting big enough I don't worry so mugh about them getting lostin the parking lot at Trunk-or treet. Ben and I just stay by our car and pass out candy and get to visit with everyone while the boys go colecting the candy. This year was the first year we dressed up. It was a lot of fun. I was the Little Red Ridding Hood who escaped from the wolf and Ben was the Big bad wolf. I had tear marks on my cape where he tried to get me. But as we all know wemon Rule. I was a little scraped up but he didn't eat me and now he follows me around like a puppy dog. (beings he can't see through his mask.) Some little kids wouldn't come near the car. A 4 year old little girl stood back and said "Mommy, I HATE that one." We had fun. The boys did to. Kade was the Grim Reeper, Mason was Darth Vadar and Porter was Spider Man.

Road Trip
Back on the road, exploring unchartered teritory, Julie was entertained with driving but the passenger became board. The drive wasn't bad ,but we did it without kids. Tha landscape reminded us of I-15 Between cedar and the bearvalley exit, without the big hill to the side of you.
We enjoyed visiting witht Tiff and the kids. We had a picnic on the living roomfloor seeings that the table was covered with scrapbook stuff. While Brayden took a nap, Kaylie got her table and scraped with us.
One of my favorites was Tiff sitting on the floor with Brayden eating cereal. Like mother like son. Some thing just never change.

Diamonds are missing
Detectives (cousins) came from all around to help capture the thief. They each got a magnifying glass, and then fallowed the foot prints that were all around the house, picking up clues along the way. Then after winding around the house, the caught up to him. and got paid, with a piece of gum, for catching him. The didn't find the diamonds until later. On a bag was a thank you from the Agency(Julie) saying to keep looking and I bet you find where he hid the diamonds. Inside the bag was popcorn. They ate as they watched a pink Panther cartoon. So diamonds(ring pops) were being uncovered under the popcorn. Pretty sneaky.
The party was fun. The kids and parents all got a kick out of it. Thanks to all of those who help track down the thief.

Football Fans
It's Game day. The house is clean. Decorations up. Food cooking. Pre-game show on. Just before the guests arrive the "tough marks" must be painted on. Ben started laughing when he saw Julie's face. He said "I am not surprised."
When Porter saw Julie he asked, "mom? Why do you have black under your eyes?" She explained they are "tough marks." He of course then wanted some. But the stipulation was is you were to flex to see if you deserved them. And of course they all did. It was a hit. Even neighborhood kids, Kristy, Sheen and Grandma came to get tough marks. Not a surprise though, only the women got the tough marks. Its kind of gave away who the real football fans are.
It was a great game. The Colts won, Yeah. And it was fun to have everyone over to share the excitement.
Next excitement will be planing Mason's party, then Valentines.
